I have heard people say over and over how, sometimes, they just don’t feel like God is ministering to them through the preacher. The topic is unrelatable and dry. And so there I was, sitting on the plastic chair in church, pondering, when God’s Spirit ministered this to me. How amazing it is that the greatest church messages don’t always come from the preacher’s lips. Sometimes, they come from watching a first-time father cuddle his toddler and being reminded of the vast wealth of the love of God, the Father, for His children. Or the eight-year old brother telling his younger sister he’s sorry and being taught of mercy. Because the truth is, sometimes, these lessons are better learnt when seen.
